Memberships & Plans

Understanding your SAH plan

Every SAH membership includes client advocacy, home wellness observations, safety observations, appointment reminders, technology assistance during visits, contractor coordination, lifestyle planning, aging-in-place guidance, community resource referrals, and authorized family communication. The number of scheduled visits per month depends on the membership tier selected.
Yes. Memberships are designed to grow alongside changing needs. You may upgrade or downgrade at any time. Our team will review your current plan and recommend adjustments that reflect your evolving requirements.
Yes. Additional visits (SA-101) may be scheduled subject to staff availability at $65.00 per visit. Emergency Priority Visits (SA-103) are also available for urgent same-day or next-day needs at $125.00 flat rate.
No. Visits reset each month. However, if SAH must cancel a visit and cannot reschedule it before the end of the billing period, that visit will be carried forward to the following month.
Whenever possible, SAH will work with clients to establish a consistent, predictable visiting schedule that fits their routine and preferences.
Yes. Guardian is available whenever additional support becomes beneficial. Many clients begin with Essential or Comfort and transition to Guardian as their needs evolve. There is no penalty for upgrading.

Visits & Services

What happens during a visit

During each scheduled visit, our team checks on the client's wellbeing, observes the home environment, identifies concerns early, assists with practical day-to-day needs, provides technology assistance, coordinates appointments, advocates on the client's behalf when appropriate, and communicates with authorized family members. Every visit is documented according to SAH operating procedures.
SAH Lifestyle focuses on clients living in their own private homes — providing wellness visits, property coordination, contractor management, and home observations. SAH Connected Living focuses on clients residing in retirement residences, assisted living communities, rehabilitation centres, or long-term care homes — providing companion visits, advocacy, wellness observations, and family communication within those settings.
No. SAH provides non-medical lifestyle support, advocacy, coordination, and technology assistance. We work alongside healthcare providers and are not a substitute for medical care. Our objective is to support independence and improve daily quality of life.
Basic technology assistance is included during all scheduled visits and may include help with smartphones, tablets, computers, Wi-Fi, printers, smart televisions, email, video calling, and password assistance. More advanced services — such as in-home network setup, smart home consulting, and security camera consultation — are available through the SAH Technology Platform.
Guardian memberships include one annual Home Safety Assessment and one annual Technology Assessment as standard. Additional assessments beyond those included may be available as optional services.

Family Communication

Keeping families informed

Yes. With the client's written authorization — or where legally permitted — SAH communicates regularly with designated family members or authorized contacts. When a valid Power of Attorney exists, communication follows the documented authorization on file.
Yes. Family Report packages are available as add-on services at various frequencies — Individual Reports ($25.00 flat), Monthly Packages ($49.00/month), Bi-Weekly Packages ($69.00/month), Weekly Packages ($99.00/month), and Premium packages ($149.00/month — a report after every visit). These can be added to any membership plan.
Distance is one of the most common reasons families turn to SAH. Our team provides a consistent, local presence and keeps authorized family members informed through regular communication and optional Family Report packages — giving distant families meaningful reassurance about their loved one's wellbeing.

Pricing & Savings

Understanding costs and discounts

Yes. Eligible memberships receive a 10% discount when paid annually in advance. For example, an Essential Membership at $149.00/month would be $1,608.00 annually — at 10% off that becomes $1,447.20, saving $160.80 per year.
Yes. Eligible memberships receive a 20% discount with a signed two-year service agreement. This is the largest available discount and provides significant long-term savings along with locked-in pricing for the full commitment period.
No. Discounts cannot be combined. The Veterans Recognition Program, Annual Prepayment Discount, Two-Year Commitment Discount, and Founding Client Program each apply separately. You would select whichever program provides the greatest benefit for your situation.
The first 20 approved clients receive 5% off eligible services and locked-in pricing — meaning your rate will not increase as long as you remain a continuous client. This is our way of recognizing and rewarding the earliest supporters of SAH.
Yes. After a client you refer completes two active months of SAH service, you may choose either a $50 service credit applied to your SAH account, or a $25 gift card. Referral credits apply to SAH services only and have no cash value.
All published prices are before applicable taxes. Materials are billed at cost with no markup. Independent contractors determine their own pricing and SAH does not add hidden markups to those services.
No. Transparency is a core principle at SAH. Before services begin, every client receives clear information regarding membership options, included services, optional add-ons, pricing, discounts, and policies. There are no hidden fees and no confusing contracts.
SAH accepts approved electronic payment methods including e-Transfer. Late payments may result in delayed scheduling of future services. Contact us to discuss your preferred payment arrangement.

Veterans Program

Support for those who served

Yes. Eligible Canadian Armed Forces veterans receive a 10% discount on qualifying SAH Lifestyle, Connected Living, and Technology services through our Veterans Recognition Program.
Materials, third-party contractor invoices, permits, equipment rentals, and outside contractor costs are excluded from the Veterans Recognition Program discount. The discount applies to SAH service fees only.
SAH works with Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) funded clients. Contact us to discuss how your VAC benefits may apply to SAH services and we will help you understand your options.

Getting Started

How to begin with SAH

The first step is a free, no-obligation consultation. During this call or visit we learn about your loved one's goals, lifestyle, home environment, family involvement, and any specific concerns. From there we develop a personalized service plan and review it with you before anything begins.
No long-term contract is required for standard monthly memberships. A two-year commitment is available optionally for clients who want the 20% discount — but the standard month-to-month membership has no binding term requirement.
SAH is based in Ontario, Canada and primarily serves the Belleville, Trenton, and Quinte West areas. Contact us to confirm service availability in your specific location.
